Update 12.10 for League of Legends will make every character more survivable

Update 12.10 for League of Legends will make every character more survivable

Earlier, Riot talked about hardening champions in update 12.10, which aims to reduce the total amount of damage in the League.
Riot says the changes are being made because the developers and the League of Legends community both agree that \"there's too much damage in the game right now.\" While quick kills are spectacular and often a source of excitement, we believe that increasing the defensive metrics will make the game better.
That way, players will have more time and opportunity to demonstrate skill and counter enemies. We still believe that battles in the League should be fast and intense - but not as intense as they are now.
Spot changes to individual champions, items or systems won't solve the problem, so we're changing the stats globally rather than dealing with each troublemaker individually. The point of the changes is that players should feel that they do and take less damage, and that characters with explosive damage will have to work a little harder to kill an enemy quickly.
As a result, there will be more time to counter threats and skirmishes will last longer, which will help raise the heat during protracted battles.Of course, such changes have a number of side effects.
Heroes will become more unkillable, and that means you need to increase the damage from objects on the map.
So the developers plan to strengthen Baron Nashor, towers, as well as \"reduce mana consumption and further reduce the early survivability of champions with an emphasis on scaling\".Hardening champions is a pretty massive change, so we're going to keep a close eye on the state of the game after the update.
We don't want a meta where tanks are unkillable, champions with explosive damage are useless, and professional games are a symbol of dejection.
So we'll be picky about the balance of roles and champions in the next few weeks. Our goal is to reach the golden mean, where all classes are viable, tactical battles run at a normal pace, players have opportunities to demonstrate skills, and the snowball effect and scaling are balanced.
