Microsoft has published the source code of the iconic 3D Movie Maker at the request of a fan

An enthusiast under the nickname foone, calling himself a \"necromancer of hardware and software\", has asked Microsoft to publish the source code of the 3D Movie Maker, released back in 1995.The program, which allows to place cartoon objects in three dimensions and create animated movies, has long been surrounded by a cult.
The source code was published on GitHub, under the MIT license.
Taking into account the age of the software, to build a full-fledged application on the basis of the published sources is unlikely.
On the other hand, sometimes enthusiasts are able to surprise even more than that.
